Cookie Policy

1.What are cookies ?

Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by users send to their terminals , where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites on your next visit . Cookies of so called ” third parties ” are , instead , set by another website than the one that the user is visiting. This is because each site can present elements ( images , maps , sounds , specific links to web pages in other domains , etc . ) that reside on different servers than the site visited.

2. What cookies are used for?

Cookies are used for different purposes: execution of authentication information , monitoring sessions , storing information about specific configurations about users accessing the server , the preference storage , etc.

3. What are ” technical ” cookies?

They are cookies used to make browsing or provide a service requested by the user. They aren’t used for other purposes and usually installed by the owner of the website.

Without the use of these cookies , some operations may not be made or would be more complex and / or less secure , such as home banking activities ( display of the account statement , bank , pay bills , etc . ), for the such as cookies , which allow you to make and keep the user identification with the session , are indispensable.

4. Analytics’ cookies are “technical” cookies?

No. The Guarantor (see measure 8 May 2014) stated that may be treated as technical cookie only if used for optimization of the site by the owner of the site , which may collect aggregate information on the number of users and how they visit the site. Under these conditions, for Analytics’ cookies are in force the same rules , with regard to disclosure and consent , provided for technical cookies .

5. What are ” profiling ” cookies?

They are cookies used to track the user’s navigation on the network and create profiles on his tastes , habits , choices , etc . Thanks to these cookies, can be transmitted to the user’s terminal advertising messages in line with the preferences already expressed by the user in his online navigation.

6. The user’s consent It’s necessary for the installation of cookies on his terminal?

It depends on the purpose for which cookies are used and , therefore , if cookies are “technical” or “profiling” .

For the installation of technical cookies isn’t required users’ consent , while it’s compulsory to give the informative (art . 13 of the Codice Privacy) . Profiling cookies, instead , can be installed on the user’s terminal only if he’s given its consent after being informed of a simplified arrangement .
